Gillian Pierce

Member / Solicitor

Gillian graduated from Northumbria University with an honours degree in law and qualified as a Solicitor at Hardington Hogg. Following a period of working in the South East, Gillian has recently returned to the firm and now heads our Property and Family Departments.

Gillian has many years’ experience as a solicitor in both property and family matters. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to advising clients on divorce, children matters and financial settlements following the breakdown of a relationship. She is also highly experienced in dealing with residential and property transactions including those of high net worth. Gillian takes a proactive approach to making your transactions as stress free as possible.

Chloe Hardy

Wills / Probate

Chloe joined the firm August 2022. Chloe recently graduated with Honours and Master’s Degree in law from Northumbria University –  As part of her studies Chloe gained experience in Wills & Probate. Chloe currently assists in the Wills & Probate Dept.

Mary Hogg

Practice Consultant

Mary Hogg established the Firm in 2007 and is Practice Consultant. Mary was admitted as a Solicitor in 1996 having obtained an honours degree in Law. Mary deals with a wide range of Private Client work with particular emphasis on Elderly Client issues such as the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Probate. Mary also specialises in all issues concerned with Family Law and Employment matters.

Trish Cook

Practice Manager

Trish joined the firm in 1999 when it was previously known as Hindmarsh Guy. She works part-time and is the practice manager and accounts clerk for the firm.

Susan Skirrow

Administrator Assistant

Susan joined the firm in 2016 with a background of 24 years’ experience as an administrative assistant. Susan is the administrator assistant and also provides secretarial support and cover when required.

Eleanor Brown

Assistant Administrator

Eleanor recently graduated from Northumbria University in 2020 with a BSc Psychology with Forensics degree. She joined the team in March 2022 and works as an Administrative Assistant for Gillian Pierce within the conveyancing department.
